Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem are hoping to finalise a deal for Everton midfielder Francisco Junior.
The 21-year-old joined Everton from Benfica last summer and made his senior debut in the League Cup.
However with first-team football not on the horizon at Goodison Park, the Portuguese Under-21 international is being allowed to join Vitesse on a season-long loan deal.
General director Joost de Wit told Voetbal International: "At the moment we are talking with Everton about a possible loan deal for Portugese Junior and we hope to complete that."
Having already snapped up Christian Atsu from Chelsea, Vitesse are also talking with Sam Hutchinson in the hope of persuading him to make the move to Holland.
