With only one win in the six games they have featured in since their Capital One Cup success, the Swans are in danger of losing their top-10 position.
Even though Michael Laudrup's men still have to travel to Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as welcoming reigning champions Manchester City to the Liberty Stadium in their remaining five games, Britton believes his side have what it takes to accomplish a strong finish.
"We've got some tough games but we've shown we can play and don't have to fear these teams, " Britton told The Sun.
"I'm sure we can pick up the points to finish in the top half, which was our target."
The 30-year-old has also thrown his weight into the debate surrounding Michu's Player of the Year shortlist snub, expressing his surprise at the Spaniard's absence from the nominees.
"We're a little bit surprised about the PFA awards," he added.
"It would have been nice to see a couple of our lads recognised for what they've done, Michu especially because he's been fantastic and you wonder where we'd be without him."
