Sky Sports understands Fulham are the mystery club bidding for Molde defensive star Vegard Forren.
The highly-rated 24-year-old defender has been watched closely by a number of Premier League outfits, including Everton, Manchester United, Newcastle United and Sunderland.
And Molde earlier on Thursday confirmed they were holding talks with an unnamed club, who can now be revealed as Fulham, regarding Forren.
Molde boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer had earlier revealed Forren would not be linking up with the Norway national squad in January as he was in talks to leave.
"Vegard is not travelling to the national team camp, because we are in the final stages of negotiations with another club," Solskjaer told Romsdals Budstikke.
"It's possible that Vegard will go for a medical check-up and negotiate his personal contract."
