Danny Graham says he is out to forge a lethal partnership with Michu in 2013 after proving the Spaniard's ideal understudy in Swansea's 2-1 win at Fulham.
Graham celebrated a recall at Craven Cottage with his first Premier League goal for almost four months while Michu - a revelation since his summer arrival with 14 goals so far - missed out through injury.
The pair initially had hit it off, scoring five times between them in Swansea's first three league matches but a run of one point from the next four games saw manager Michael Laudrup break up the partnership, with Graham the man to make way.
But insisting the duo can play in the same side, he said: "I don't think I can keep him out of the team - he's done that well!
"I'd definitely like to get a few more games with him and play with him.
"He's come in as an attacking midfielder but done a job up front. If I get the chance to have a run in the team with Michu, I'm sure we could go on and score a lot of goals at the back end of the season.
"But, first and foremost, it's about the team. It's not about me not playing or how well Michu's done - it's down to the group of boys in there who just want to do their best for Swansea City Football Club."
Reiterating his desire to stake his claim for a regular place, Graham added: "I've always said I'm happy at the club, so if the gaffer wants me here and part of his plans, there won't be any reason to leave."
