Former Wigan right-back Steve Gohouri has admitted he would be interested in a return to the Premier League.
Gohouri, 31, currently plays for Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv but has been linked with a move to Reading or Southampton.
Both teams will be looking to strengthen their squads in January as they bid to avoid instant relegation back to the Championship.
The Ivory Coast international spent two-and-a half seasons at Wigan after joining from German team Borussia Moenchengladbach in January 2010.
"I've always loved the Premier League, the fans and the stadiums are great."

But he fell out of favour with Latics boss Roberto Martinez and was released last summer when his contract expired.
"I've always loved the Premier League, the fans and the stadiums are great," said Gohouri.
"At the moment I feel well in Israel but you never know.
"I have great memories at Wigan, where we had a brilliant chairman. My first year was fantastic, the second year was a bit difficult, but I love the life there."
