Jermain Defoe not leaving Spurs for QPR and Harry Redknapp - Andre Villas-Boas

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has told predecessor Harry Redknapp to forget about signing Jermain Defoe.

"I certainly put him alongside Falcao," added Villas-Boas. "His hunger for goal is extreme. That makes things easier for you to work with because you don't have to teach a lot. "He smells every cross and when the opportunity is there to tap it in." However, Villas-Boas has refused to rule out the prospect of defender Michael Dawson linking up with Redknapp again. "I think if that possibility arises we will have to consider it," he said.
