Sky Sports understands a host of clubs are keeping tabs on Simon Church's contract situation at Reading.
Church is currently on a month's loan at Huddersfield after finding his first-team chances limited at the Madejski Stadium this season.
The Wales international is out of contract at Reading at the end of the campaign and yet to sign a new deal, meaning he could leave on a free transfer in the summer.
The news has alerted Church's suitors, aware that they could land him on a free transfer next summer or get him for a cut-price fee if Reading fail to tie him down to a new deal.
Reading are keen to commit Church to a new contract, but the striker is keeping his options open as he looks to play first-team football on a regular basis.
