Reading midfielder Jem Karacan could be in line for his senior international debut with Turkey after being called into the squad.
The 23-year-old, whose father was born in Turkey, has been drafted into Abdullah Avci's squad ahead of their World Cup qualifying clash against Hungary in Budapest on Tuesday night.
Avci's side currently sit fourth in Group D after suffering a slender 1-0 defeat to Romania in Istanbul on Friday.
Karacan, who has represented Turkey's youth teams and the under-21 side, was thrilled with the call-up.
The Royals man tweeted: "Couldn't be more buzzing right now!"
