Genoa defender Andreas Granqvist admits he is flattered to be linked with a possible move to Liverpool.
Recent reports have claimed Liverpool are lining up a move for former Wigan stopper Granqvist after sending scouts to watch the Swede.
Granqvist has impressed at Genoa since his arrival at Stadio Luigi Ferraris and he attracted interest from Lazio and AC Milan during the summer transfer window.
The 27-year-old is in the dark about Liverpool's reported interest, but admitted it was flattering to be linked with the Anfield outfit.
"Honestly, I don't know much about this." Granqvist told Sportbladet.
"I am fully focused on these two matches (World Cup qualifiers) and then we will see what happens.
"I am truly enjoying myself in Genoa, but obviously it's flattering to be linked with Liverpool.
"It's a historical club with much success.
"It has gone very well for me and I have got much positive feedback in Italy."
