Robert Huth: No action for the centre-back
Stoke defender Robert Huth will not face punishment over an alleged stamp on Luis Suarez.
The Liverpool forward was left with stud marks on his torso after Huth appeared to tread on him during Sunday's goalless draw at Anfield.
But there will be no retrospective punishment from the Football Association for 28-year-old German centre-back regarding the incident.
Meanwhile, Huth's partner at the heart of Stoke's defence, Ryan Shawcross, was pleased to leave Anfield with a draw having seen Liverpool thrash Norwich the previous weekend.
"To come away with a point against a team that has just won 5-2 is a great result," Shawcross, who is in the England squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifying double-header, told Stoke's official website.
"I thought both teams defended well, but we came here and had a go, and in some respects we were unlucky not to get all three points."
