Chris Hughton has called on his Norwich City side to provide a positive response to their 5-2 defeat to Liverpool.
Hughton has his work cut out, with a trip to table-topping Chelsea next on the agenda.
He is, however, confident that performances will improve and that Norwich will soon start to edge their way clear of trouble near the foot of the Premier League standings.
"It is never an enjoyable week after such a result like that," said Hughton.
"You are still going over in your mind the last performance to start with, and from that point onwards it is about what can you work on to improve for the rest of the week.
"You win games and you lose games, but if you lose, you hope they are going to end up tight affairs. That was the case at Newcastle the week before.
"It always hurts, particularly if it is a big defeat, but you have to bounce back.
"You have to see an improvement and that is what the work has been about this week."
