Arsenal have completed the signing of Santi Cazorla from Malaga for an undisclosed fee.

The Spain international, who has reportedly moved from debt-ridden Malaga for a fee in the region of an initial £16million, has signed what has been described by the Gunners as a 'long-term contract'.

Attacking midfielder Cazorla, 27, is now joining Arsenal at their pre-season training camp in Germany and follows Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud into the Premier League club as they look to address their trophy drought.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger told the club's official website: "Santi Cazorla is a great signing for us.

"The club has one of the best managers in football and their style of play is recognised and admired all over the world."
