Watford boss Gianfranco Zola has refused to rule out signing Carlo Cudicini or Manuel Almunia as a replacement for Scott Loach.

Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has refused to rule out signing Carlo Cudicini or Manuel Almunia as a replacement for Ipswich-bound Scott Loach.
Sky Sports on Tuesday revealed Ipswich had agreed a deal for goalkeeper Loach and the former England Under 21 international was set for a medical at Portman Road.
Zola has now confirmed the 24-year-old is on the verge of moving clubs, meaning Watford are looking for replacements who could include Cudicini or Almunia.
Speaking on Tuesday night to
Sky Sports News after drawing 1-1 with Boreham Wood in a pre-season friendly in his first game in charge, Zola said of Loach's exit: "It is a possibility.
"Scott has got this opportunity and so we are considering it.

"We will see. As I said, it is a good opportunity for him. He looks like he is happy and that is an important thing."
Tottenham's Cudicini could be available on a free transfer after falling behind Brad Friedel at White Hart Lane and he would add to Watford's Italian revolution.
Almunia could be another possible signing after he was released by Arsenal, having lost his place to Wojciech Szczesny and last season he spent time on loan at West Ham.
Zola said of Cudicini and Almunia: "They are certainty good goalkeepers. If they come, they will be very good for this club.
"But it is too early to say. We will update you on that."
