Interest
The midfielder, who played a starring role in Australia's 1-1 draw in their World Cup qualifier against group leaders Japan on Monday,
has made no secret of his desire to one day play in the Middle East.
He has two years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park and is happy at the club he joined in 2004 but it is believed he would consider a move overseas.
Meanwhile, long-serving Everton defender Tony Hibbert will have a testimonial against AEK Athens at Goodison Park on August 8th.
The 31-year-old, a graduate of the club's academy, has made 309 appearances since his Toffees debut in 2001.
