Tottenham Hotspur's young defender Adam Smith aims to break into the first team at White Hart Lane next season, but has not ruled out a permanent exit.
The England Under 21 international is still waiting for his Spurs debut, but has impressed during loan spells at Wycombe, Torquay, Bournemouth, MK Dons and Leeds.
There were several clubs interested in signing the highly-rated full-back on a permanent basis last summer, when his contract at Spurs expired, but he chose to sign a new three-year deal at White Hart Lane.
However, the 21-year-old's thirst for regular first-team football has intensified following a successful spell with MK Dons this season and he revealed that he is keen to impress manager Harry Redknapp during pre-season.
"I've still got another two years on my contract at Tottenham, but you never know what can happen in football," Smith told Sky Sports.
"I might end up getting bought by another club or going out on loan again, but breaking into the first team is my aim at the moment, so I'll be looking to make an impression once pre-season begins."
