Martin Jol has challenged Fulham to find some consistency next season and remain in the top 10 throughout the campaign.
The Cottagers finished eighth last season after claiming 10 points in their final five games which saw them land such a high position.
Mark Hughes, though, opted to leave the club claiming he had taken them as far as he could.
Fulham are currently 10th in the table and look to have banished early season fears they could slip into a relegation dogfight.
However Jol wants to see them in the top half of the table for the entire term, rather than gate-crashing it at the end.
"We are happy to have the points we have. Hopefully we can stay in this position," he told The Sun.
"Fulham were lucky to win their last few games last season and that brought them the eighth position.
"What I would like in the future is to be a top-10 side structurally from the start of the season until the end."
