Terry Connor is demanding his Wolves players focus on keeping the club in the Premier League - and not potential moves elsewhere.

Wolves approach Saturday's trip to Stoke six points adrift at the bottom of the table with many having written off their chances of survival.

Several players including highly-rated goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, speedy winger Matt Jarvis and top scorer Steven Fletcher are likely to leave Molineux in the summer.

But Connor wants no distractions until the end of the season and intends to clamp down hard on players who aren't focused on the task of avoiding the drop.

"They play for this football club for the next seven games," Connor told the Express and Star. "Anything else - don't think about it."

"They're here to help Wolves stay up and then we'll decide what they can do with their contracts."

Despite their seemingly hopeless position, the Wolves boss expects full commitment in all of their remaining fixtures.

"I've told the players every game has to be competitive," he added.
