Congo international Assani Lukimya-Mulongoti has given no clues about his future amid reported interest from Aston Villa and Bayer Leverkusen.
The defender is currently playing with Fortuna Dusseldorf in Bundesliga 2, but his contract is set to expire in June.
Alex McLeish's Premier League strugglers Villa, who on Saturday earned a vital win over Fulham, have been linked with Lukimya-Mulongoti, however, Leverkusen are said to be favourites.
Some reports have said the centre-back is set to sign a three-year deal at BayArena, but the 26-year-old has remained coy.
Lukimya-Mulongoti told Bild: "I have a whole slew of offers from clubs from top divisions. (But) actually I just do not look into it too much.
"I am actually getting to an age when I need to take the very best decisions regarding the future of my career. Therefore I am just taking my time."
