Hungary international wants to remain part of the Hoops set-up

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Akos Buzsaky's contract expires this summer but he wants to stay at the club, according to his agent. The 29-year-old was used sparingly under previous boss Neil Warnock, but he was immediately reinstated to the team when Mark Hughes took over the reins. Hughes named the Hungary international in his first game in charge against Wigan and was rewarded with a sensational strike.

Contract

Noted for his rich playmaking skills, the former Plymouth midfielder is now trying to convince Hughes has a future at Loftus Road. His agent Vladan Filipovics is optimistic his player will be given a chance to extend his stay beyond the summer. "The new manager just arrived a couple of weeks ago and Akos is already a first-team member, so I hope he'll get a new contract soon," he told www.origo.hu. "He took his chance when it came, played well and hopefully he will be able to continue that."
