The president of Boca Juniors claims Carlos Tevez would be welcomed back to the club with open arms should Manchester City decide that he needs games.
Argentina international Tevez is currently on a self-imposed exile from the Etihad Stadium after suffering a falling out with Blues boss Roberto Mancini.
Sparks flew between the pair during a UEFA Champions League clash in September 2011, and Tevez has found himself on the outside looking in at City ever since.
With it clear that he has no future with the Blues, Tevez has been desperately searching for a transfer away from the club.
He has, however, further infuriated the Premier League leaders by fleeing to his homeland and steadfastly refusing to return to England.
Interest
His actions have helped no-one, and no deal was completed during the January transfer window - despite Italian giants AC and Inter Milan and ambitious French outfit Paris St Germain expressing an interest.
A return to South America or a move to Russia are now the most realistic options open to Tevez, with former employers Corinthians and Boca having previously expressed an interest in taking him back.
Boca claim they would still be willing to discuss a deal, but have made it clear that they would not be able to fund any part of the agreement and would only enter into an arrangement if City feel the need to get Tevez games ahead of a permanent summer switch to another club.
"If Tevez arrives for free then we would be happy to have him," Boca president Daniel Angelici told
Todo Noticias.
"If Manchester City call us and say that they need him to play games, our doors are always open."
