City boss woe at Goodison defeat

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed he may have underestimated Everton following their 1-0 defeat at Goodison Park. Former Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson struck the only goal of the game on the hour mark to send City spinning to their third defeat of the season. City dominated the possession on Merseyside but could not find their way through a resolute Toffees defence. To make things worse for the Italian Manchester United's victory at Stoke meant they drew level with their city rivals at the top of the table. When asked whether he had under estimated the Toffees Mancini told Sky Sports: "Probably, yes probably. "My players put everything on the pitch but I think that we played a bad game. "We knew December and January would be difficult months, because we had players injured, players banned and players away, we knew this before. "We need to restart and win the next game, we have 15 games, we are on the top, but it is very important to win the next game."
