Younger brother Enoch handed Black Cats chance

Sky Sports sources understand Enoch Balotelli - younger brother of Mario - is one of two new forwards on trial at Sunderland. The teenager is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his older brother and secure a move to the Premier League, having previously been on trial at Stoke in December. Martin O'Neill has overseen a dramatic turnaround at Sunderland, who are now in the top half of the Premier League table, and the manager is currently on the search for a new striker. As a result, the club also look set to rival Rangers for the signature of Bosnian international Zlatan Muslimovic. The 30-year-old forward had looked likely to join Ally McCoist's squad after training with the Scottish giants but is now thought to be heading south for a trial with the Black Cats. Muslimovic could fit the bill having played for eight years in Italy before moving to PAOK in Greece where he has spent the last three seasons. One of the player's agents, Mate Jozipovic, told STV: "He is a very good player. He last played in Greece. He has been training with the national team since then."
