Vitesse Arnhem have sealed the signing of Chelsea full-back Patrick van Aanholt on loan for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old had just returned to Stamford Bridge after a similar deal with Wigan was cancelled by mutual consent.
He has now agreed terms with Vitesse and becomes the third Chelsea player on loan at the Gelredome as Tomas Kalas and Ulises Davila are already with the Vitas.
"We have shopped around and the preference was for a left-footed player," said manager John van den Brom.
"The moment the name of Patrick came up, everyone was immediately enthusiastic.
"He is a talented young player who wants to show himself at the highest level and the advantage is that he is fit and is ready to play."
The Dutch defender has spent much of the last three seasons away from Chelsea with loan spells at Coventry City, Newcastle United, Leicester City and Wigan.
