The agent of AC Milan left-back Taye Taiwo believes a move to Arsenal for his player looks unlikely.

No contact between Arsenal and full-back's agent

The agent of AC Milan left-back Taye Taiwo admits a move to Arsenal for his player looks unlikely. The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United all believed to be showing interest before he decided to join Milan from Marseille during the summer. An injury crisis in Arsenal's back-line has fuelled rumours that manager Arsene Wenger is scouring the market for defensive cover, and with Taiwo currently struggling to force his way into the Milan starting XI, a move to north London could be ideal for both parties. However, Fabio Parisi, agent to the Nigeria international, revealed there has been no contact between the club and himself. He told notiziariosportivo.com: "At the moment there is no huge news about Nigerian players, with Arsenal there was only a rumour. "I certainly don't know that Arsene Wenger is looking for a left-back but at this time there has not been any official offer at AC Milan."
