Heynckes will only consider Pranjic exit in January

Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich have no plans to part company with director of sport Christian Nerlinger. There has been speculation about the future of the former Bayern and Rangers midfielder due to the fact his contract is set to expire at the end of the season. But Nerlinger has been at Bayern since July 2009 and the club's hierarchy insist they have no plans to end the working relationship. Bayern executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Sport-BILD weekly: "I am enjoying the progress Christian has made. "He had to do a Herculean task as successor of Uli Hoeness in that role. He has done great. Also his relationship with the team as well as manager Jupp Heynckes is fantastic."

Fact

And Bayern supervisory board member Fritz Scherer said: "Christian Nerlinger is doing a great job. He has found his role inside our club. "From my point of view, there is no reason to make any changes on this position at our club." Meanwhile, Bayern manager Heynckes is adamant he is not going to allow anyone apart from the out-of-favour and unsettled Danijel Pranjic to leave from his first-team squad in the January transfer window. Heynckes told BILD: "I will not ask anyone from the squad to leave the club this winter. I want everyone to remain here, this is a fact. "Just if Danijel were to come up with the wish to move on, then we would look into this with regard to him."
