Swansea City have confirmed that manager Brendan Rodgers will miss their match with Arsenal after the death of his father.
Malachy Rodgers passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning and the Swans boss travelled back to his native Northern Ireland on Friday to be with his family.
Following the death, Swansea have confirmed that Rodgers will remain with his family and will therefore not be travelling to Arsenal with the squad.
Assistant manager Colin Pascoe and coach Alan Curtis will take charge of the team for the match.
Swansea also confirmed that the team would wear black armbands in memory of Mr Rodgers and Mike Dye, the Wales and Cardiff City supporter who sadly died at Wembley earlier this week.
