Kara Mbodj: Could be set to leave Tromso if the right offer is made
Norwegian outfit Tromso are desperate to keep midfielder Kara Mbodj but admit they may have to sell should the right offer come in.
The highly-rated youngster moved to Norway in 2010 from the Senegal-based Diambars Academy and has racked up 48 appearances so far, scoring five goals.
Premier League duo Stoke City and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the 21-year-old, who has been likened to former Gunner Patrick Vieira.
However, they may face competition from a number of Bundesliga clubs, including Schalke, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, who are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the starlet.
Tromso coach Per-Mathias Hoegmo is aware of the interest in his player and acknowledges the club may have to sell if the right offer came in.
"We know that he is followed closely," Hoegmo told VG.
"I hope we can keep the side until the end of the season. But if there are big sums on the table, it has to be judged."
