Manchester City have confirmed that Brazilian striker Jo has left the club and joined Internacional.
The 24-year-old was former manager Mark Hughes' first signing after the marksman joined from CSKA Moscow in July 2008 in an £18million deal.
Jo mustered just one Premier League goal in his first season at the club with Robinho taking centre stage in their attack.
The striker later spent time on loan with Everton and he netted five league goals in a total of 27 appearances for the Toffees.
In total Jo, who also had a spell with Galatasaray, featured 41 times for City, although he only bagged six goals while at Eastlands.
In his final season at City he spent a large amount of time on the bench, playing the occasional game under manager Roberto Mancini and scoring three goals in the Carling Cup and Europa League.
