Reds keeper to spend the 2011/12 campaign at the KC Stadium

Hull City have taken Hungarian goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi on a season-long loan from Liverpool. As revealed by skysports.com earlier this month, Hull have moved for Gulacsi to bolster their goalkeeping options after losing Matt Duke and Brad Guzan this summer The 21-year-old will now spend the 2011/12 campaign battling for a starting role at the KC Stadium. He has limited experience at present and is yet to make his senior bow for Liverpool. Gulacsi is, however, considered to be an exciting prospect of the future, with the Reds having snapped him up back in August 2008 following an impressive loan spell.

Experience

He spent the 2007/08 campaign on Merseyside and played a leading role for Liverpool's treble-winning reserve side. The next season he took in a stint at League Two outfit Hereford, giving him a first taste of the Football League. He was sent out on loan again in the second half of the 2009/10 campaign and went on to make five appearances for Tranmere. Gulacsi returned to Prenton Park last season and appeared on 14 occasions for Rovers before heading back to Anfield in December 2010.
