Wolves striker Leigh Griffiths has confirmed he would welcome the chance to return to Scotland on loan.
The 20-year-old is yet to make his Wolves debut after joining the Premier League outfit from Dundee in January.
The ex-Livingston frontman is preparing to return for pre-season training at Molineux and he aims to stake a claim for a first-team spot with Wolves.
But Griffiths is open to the possibility of going out on loan if the club feel it will boost his chances of one day making his Premier League breakthrough.
"It's something I'll obviously discuss with the manager, Mick McCarthy," he told the Daily Record.
"If he thinks it's the best thing to do then Scotland would be my option.
"There's nothing cut and dried yet, although obviously I'm going to have to do what's best for my career.
"I really want to play in the Premiership, that's my dream, so I'll take a look at anything that can help me achieve that."
