Chris Brunt has challenged his West Brom team-mates to end their campaign on a high with a top-10 finish.
The Baggies face Tottenham on Saturday, with Harry Redknapp's men still going in search of a UEFA Champions League place.
Under Roy Hodgson's stewardship the fear of relegation has slowly been extinguished but Chelsea inflicted their first blemish in seven games last week.
Brunt is predicting one more win will secure their Premier League status but believes that should only be their base target.
"I think one more win should be enough," he said, speaking at Albion's annual disabled supporters' club open day.
"It's tough to put a number on it this season because, over the last few seasons, we'd have been safe three or four weeks ago with our points tally.
"It's a strange season but it's important for us to keep positive results. Since the new manager has come in, we've only lost one game and it would be nice to try and keep that going towards the end of the season.
"The higher you finish up the league, the better for the football club as well."
Aston Villa seem to have eased their concerns over the drop in the last couple of weeks as the vines of relegation threatened to entangle them and now sit 10th in the table.
Their change in fortunes has not gone unnoticed by Brunt, who believes the Baggies can use them as a template to replicate.
"We've seen Aston Villa in the last few weeks be on the verge of the relegation zone, win two games, and then they're on 40 points and the top 10," he added.
"If we can pick up a couple of results in the next few weeks, there's no reason why we can't finish in the top half of the table."
What will the outcome be?
