Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Douglas Costa will have plenty of options in the summer, according to his agent.
The 20-year-old Brazilian has had a fine campaign with Ukrainian outfit Shakhtar since joining the club from Gremio last January, signing a five-year contract.
He has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, while agent Cesar Bottega has also revealed that Serie A side Napoli are monitoring his situation.
Douglas' qualities have emerged in the UEFA Champions League this season, although Shakhtar were dumped out of the competition in the quarter-finals by Barcelona.
Bottega claims that Juventus were close to signing him last year, and he expects more movement during the upcoming transfer window.
"There is much interest around Douglas, moreover, he was one of the best young players who showed off in this season's Champions League," he told
calciomercatoweb.it.
"Several clubs are following him and there was some contact, but no concrete proposal has yet arrived.
"We'll see how things evolve. If there is a chance to play elsewhere, I am convinced that the boy can do well even in a top team.
"Manchester United have liked him since a long time, in Italy there is Napoli which should be an important club for him.
"Shakhtar are a good team and are doing very well, but it is normal that if we get important offers for the club and the player, these will be taken into account.
"Before going to Shakhtar, there was a concrete deal with Juventus. I had been in Turin, but when it came time to close, the demands of Gremio were not those which Juventus' leaders expected.
"Shakhtar instead decided to accept and I think they have been right."
