Blackpool winger Elliot Grandin is eager prove his fitness and stay on the goal trail against Tottenham.
The Frenchman headed home from Charlie Adam's corner to score the equaliser in the Seasiders' 1-1 draw at home to Aston Villa earlier this month.
But the joy at scoring his first goal for Blackpool in 20 games for the club was short-lived as he then went off with a hamstring injury.
The 23-year-old is hopeful of being fit in time to face Spurs on Tuesday night, though, and have the chance to build on breaking his Pool duck against Villa.
"It is good for my confidence, and I am very happy for my family and friends, because they all follow my progress," he told the
Blackpool Gazette.
"My family watch every game back in France on the internet, so they saw the goal and I am very happy about that.

"I hope to score a lot of goals for Blackpool, and be here for a long time."
Manager Ian Holloway felt Grandin was due a goal and will be hoping for more of the same from the man he signed in the summer on a two-year deal from CSKA Sofia.
"I had been asking him to get on the scoresheet," he added. "It was a great ball by Charlie and a beautiful header.
"I thought Elliot was looking terrific. He was floating in little gaps and pockets, getting on the ball and turning. He was really dangerous on the day."
