Blackburn linked with Spanish star
Valencia winger Vicente admits he would consider playing in the Premier League after being linked with a summer move to Blackburn.
The 29-year-old winger has spent almost all his career with Valencia, but his current deal is due to expire in the summer.
Valencia are yet to offer him terms, and now he is attracting interest from elsewhere.
Blackburn's new owners Venky's are in the market for 'Marquee' signings and Spanish international Vicente would certainly be something of a coup if they could capture his signature.
Rovers seemingly have a strong scout network, with Barcelona youngsters Victor Vazques and Ruben Rochina on their radar, and Vicente is also in their sights.
His agent Miguel Angel Cermeno confirmed that they had not had talks with Valencia over a new deal.
"Nobody in Valencia has spoken with us about the situation, but it is normal they are working on many things," Cermeno said.
The player himself admits he would be open to the idea of playing in the Premier League.
"To play abroad, that is not a problem, if the project is interesting," said Vicente.
"I have heard good things about the Premier League."
New signing
One player who does look like getting a new deal is veteran captain David Albelda - who is also out of contract in the summer.
"Albelda is an important player for us and we predict that we will begin talks soon," sporting director Braulio Vazquez told
Punto Radio.
Meanwhile, Valencia have agreed terms for Gremio striker Jonas Goncalves.
Valencia have agreed a deal worth €1.25million for the 26-year-old.
