Jerome Rothen has held positive talks with AEK Athens, but claims he has a number of other options to consider.
The French winger is currently available as a free agent after negotiating his release from Paris St Germain.
Numerous clubs have been in contact with the former France international, keen to bring his considerable experience on board.
The 32-year-old admits Greek outfit AEK currently lead the chase for his services, but he is yet to put pen to paper.
He claims to have been offered trials at a number of sides from across Europe and in the MLS and feels it would only be right to explore all avenues before making a decision.
"AEK? I have visited their facilities and spoken with the coach," the ex-Rangers wideman told Le Parisien.
"The club has big ambition and we have discussed wages and other conditions.
"But I have other trails in the USA, England and France before I choose where to go.
"I will give myself a few days to think about things."
