Wigan boss Roberto Martinez has responded to Robbie Savage's relegation claim by saying - 'You're no Johan Cruyff'.
The Derby veteran said he believed the current bottom three - West Ham, Wolves and Wigan - will be in the top flight's drop zone at the end of the season.
But Martinez has brushed off the claim, although he admits he would have been worried if Barcelona legend Cruyff had said that.
The Wigan boss said: "I don't use that as a motivation - if Johan Cruyff would say that, that would worry me.

"Cruyff's Barcelona team was my inspiration, and he is someone I really admire as a manager.
"People who have been through a lot in football management, you can take a lot of their opinion.
"I'm not saying I don't admire Robbie Savage. But the hardest thing in football is to look behind the results and the position in the table.
"Maybe somebody who has seen Wigan play six or seven times this season should give their opinion?

"We all agree that we have not been able to get the points our performances deserve, so then you get in a position in the table where it is easy to come up with that sort of comment.
"We need to show what we can do.
"Sometimes that sort of thing can be just the motivation that you need."
