Stoke boss Tony Pulis insists that Abdoulaye Faye has not become a forgotten man at the Britannia Stadium.
The Senegal international has not featured in the two games since the 3-2 win over Birmingham on 9th November.
Pulis brought Ryan Shawcross straight back in at centre-half for the 2-0 win over Liverpool after he served a one-match ban against Birmingham and he stuck with the partnership of Shawcross and Robert Huth for last weekend's 3-0 win at West Brom.
The Potters' manager admits Faye has not taken the decision easily but urged the 32-year-old to take note of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic.

The Bosnia international was handed his first league start of the season at Everton at the end of the month and has taken full advantage, keeping Thomas Sorensen out of the side since.
"He (Faye) is disappointed and has been a little bit down, a bit like Glenn (Whelan) and one or two others," Pulis told
The Sentinel.
"But they've got to try to do what Asmir has done by staying patient and taking their chance when it comes.
"Abdy has been a big part of what we have done here at this club and remains a big part of what we're still trying to do at the Britannia."
