Stuart Holden believes Bolton team-mate Fabrice Muamba will be the next Wanderer called up by England boss Fabio Capello.
"He's more than capable of playing at a higher level. He's young but he's got a lot of experience behind him."
Stuart Holden Quotes of the week
After an eight-year wait to have a senior England international player in their side, Bolton currently have two players in contention - Kevin Davies and Gary Cahill.
US international Holden has backed team-mate Muamba to become the third, highlighting his work-rate as key to his success.
"I really enjoy playing alongside Fab," Holden said.
"He likes to put himself about, covers a lot of ground and makes some big tackles.
"I like to get on the ball and he provides that security. The two of us compliment each other, and I think the partnership can get stronger.
"He's more than capable of playing at a higher level. He's young but he's got a lot of experience behind him."
