Wolves boss Mick McCarthy believes upbeat Algerian international Adlene Guedioura could make a quicker than expected return from his broken leg.
Guedioura has been ruled out for six months after fracturing his tibia following a challenge by opposing midfielder Steve Sidwell in the home defeat against Aston Villa.
A plaster cast will protect his leg for the next four weeks before being swapped for a lighter cast as he begins the long road back to the training pitch.
But McCarthy reckons the 24-year-old can come back even stronger from the injury blow.
Intelligent
The Molineux chief said: "He might be back quicker than we thought because of his positive attitude.
"He's a really intelligent guy and he's been asking what he needs to do and how long he's going to be out.
"The last bit of his rehab will be down to him - for example how he feels tackling and kicking.
"I think if you're feeling worried or negative it can take longer to come back from it.
"But he's really positive and I think he'll come back stronger."
