Mick McCarthy believes Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is starting to prove he can shine in the Premier League.
Ebanks-Blake was an integral member of the team which secured promotion to the top flight in 2009 as he scored 25 goals in the Championship.
However, after netting just twice in the Premier League last season, doubts were raised over the 24-year-old's ability to play at the highest level.
The former Manchester United youngster has gone some way towards silencing the critics by scoring in Wolves' last two league games and McCarthy is happy with the forward's form.
The Wolves boss said: "It is great for him, it's great for us because he is getting us points with them.
"Question marks were all over the place last season as to whether Sylvan could play at this level.
"We didn't doubt him, he stayed here, kept his No.9 shirt, and he's deserved it and he has started in the team.
"He has repaid everybody with good performances and goals. He is thrilled by it as well."
