Skysports.com understands a clutch of clubs have made enquiries to sign Tunisia international Tijani Belaid on loan.
Belaid currently plays for Slavia Prague and the former Inter Milan youngster has spent the past three years in the Czech Republic.
However, it is understood that the 22-year-old could finalise a move to England before the transfer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday.
Newly-promoted Premier League duo Blackpool and West Brom have shown an interest in the midfielder, while Wigan and Wolves are also fans of Belaid.
And there is also interest from the Championship, with Cardiff City aiming to improve their squad before the window closes.
