New Burnley recruit Dean Marney believes the Clarets can make an immediate return to the top flight.
The midfielder has moved to Turf Moor from Hull City for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal as Brian Laws' first summer signing.
The 26-year-old spent four years with the Tigers, who were also relegated from the top flight last term, so knows what it takes to get promoted, having been part of the Hull squad who went up three seasons ago.
He firmly believes Burnley can achieve this aim next term and can not wait to get started with his new side.
Marney told the Lancashire Telegraph: "Everybody wants to play in the Premier League, it's regarded as the best league in the world. I definitely want to get back and definitely feel I can do it with Burnley.
"It (the Championship) is a really tough league, everyone knows that. But with the quality of the squad I'm sure if we all play to the best of our ability we are as good as anyone and I'm sure we will do really well.
"It's a strong squad. I'm looking forward to pre-season and getting to know the lads, and I'm really looking forward to the challenge.
"I just can't wait to get going now."
