Goalkeeper Radek Cerny has revealed he intends to stay at Queens Park Rangers next season and believes they can mount a push for the play-offs.
The 36-year-old shot-stopper has been linked with a move to Slavia Prague in his native Czech Republic, having played there for five years at the start of his career.
But he denies that he wants to leave Loftus Road, and is optimistic on his side's chances next term.
"I have a contract with QPR and, moreover, you don't leave England if you don't have to," he told
CTK.
"Our team is not so strong as to easily cruise through the Championship but the coach will be given money to make new signings, so we will see.
"I think we could be able to finish within the top six and, by that, have a chance to compete for promotion from the play-offs."
It has been an eventful season for Rangers and they finished in 13th position having seen three managers at the helm.
Jim Magilton left the club in December but his replacement Paul Hart only lasted a month and a half in the post.
Neil Warnock is now in charge and Cerny thinks they can flourish under his stewardship next term.
"We started the season well, were up there in the play-off places and were playing an attractive brand of football," he added.
"But then we had a conflict in the dressing room and the new coach wanted us to play the typical kick-and-rush style of football while we did not have the right type of players for that.
"A big number of players then arrived on loan but still it did not help us. So there was another managerial change and Mr (Lakshmi) Mittal became the majority shareholder and since that moment we began winning, played nice football and eventually finished 13th."
