George Boateng has fired a warning shot at Arsenal saying Hull intend to keep their proud home record intact when they lock horns at the KC Stadium.
The Dutchman believes the Tigers can overturn a miserable week, which saw a Nick Barmby and Jimmy Bullard bust-up hit the headlines the day after City were thumped 5-1 by Everton, with a shock win against Arsene Wenger's men.
Despite Arsenal going into the Premier League clash on the back of an emphatic 5-0 win over Porto, the 34-year-old said Phil Brown's side will play to win and aim to maintain their impressive record which has seen City lose just once in their previous ten games at home.
"If anyone watched Arsenal play in midweek then you would have to say that if we were offered a draw before kick-off then I think we'd take it," said the former Middlesbrough midfielder.
"But at home we haven't played to draw, we have played to win matches.
"We played really well against Manchester City when we won the match. We are going to go for a win against Arsenal and hopefully the result will take care of itself."

The Tigers have dominated the headlines for all the wrong reasons this week following a public bust-up in a park between senior players Bullard and Barmby which forced Brown to make a public apology.
However, Boateng said the unwanted press attention has failed to affect the side.
"I don't think it has disrupted us in any way because the lads are on speaking terms," he said.
"We are all laughing and joking about it, so we are looking forward to Arsenal.
"Normally when things like that happen it shows that players care because it's about winning a match - it's not personal.
"If that was the case then you would start to worry, but it is about winning and losing.
"We have this almost every day in training, but sometimes people go over the edge. It's not a big issue.
"Hopefully we can show people that we are united and not divided."
