West Ham forward Mido believes his countryman Mohamed Zidan would be a success in the Premier League.
The Egyptian hit-man will get the chance to test himself against English opposition on Wednesday when the Three Lions host the Pharaohs in an international friendly.
Zidan has already established quite a reputation back in Africa, and shone at the recent African Cup of Nations, while he has also caught the eye during a five-year stint in Germany.
The 28-year-old frontman is currently on the books of Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, but has been strongly linked with a move elsewhere in the past.
A switch to England has been touted, with no shortage of willing takers, and Mido feels Zidan would be a big hit within a side that likes to play football.
"Zidan is one of the great players for my country right now," the former Tottenham, Middlesbrough and Wigan man said in
The Sun.
"He is a second striker, more of a link man than an out-and-out goalscorer.

"He is very quick, confident on the ball and of course when the chance comes, the guy can score goals. He has done very well and is getting more and more attention.
"Zidan could be successful in England if he goes to a good footballing club.
"He needs to be in a team that plays good football, beautiful football like Arsenal.
"If he goes to a club who play a more physical game, it would not be so good for him.
"Maybe he could even fit in at one of my old teams, like Tottenham.
"They have some excellent players like Luka Modric, Niko Kranjcar and Tom Huddlestone."
