Pharaohs expected to prove tough test for Three Lions

Egypt manager Hassan Shehata has named his squad for the friendly match against England on Wednesday. The Pharaohs take on the Three Lions at Wembley as Fabio Capello's side look to prepare for this summer's World Cup in South Africa. Hull City forward Amr Zaki is the only Premier League player in Shehata's 25-man squad, as West Ham's Mido misses out. Former Tottenham midfielder Hossam Ghaly has made the cut, while Borussia Dortmund's Mohamed Zidan is, alongside Zaki, one of just three European-based players in the squad. Egypt are currently one place behind England in the Fifa World Rankings, although they will not be playing in the first World Cup to be held on their home continent. The African Cup of Nations champions failed to qualify, and are the highest-ranked team to have missed out. Capello is set to use the game as a pointer for England's group stage clash with fellow North African side Algeria.
