Striker looking to make impact

Amr Zaki has described his delight at signing for Hull City having completed his loan switch from Zamalek. The Tigers held off competition from a number of clubs to sign the striker on loan until the end of the season. Zaki returns to England following his previous spell when he scored ten goals for Wigan during a season-long stay at the DW Stadium. "Once the directors of Zamalek told me that I had permission to speak to Hull City I could not wait to get back to England," said Zaki. "I met with the manager Mr Brown and the president of the club Mr Pearson. "They are good people and made me feel wanted. "I talked with Mr Brown and I explained that I want to work hard in the Premier league, score goals and to help Hull City." Zaki's work-permit should be confirmed this week and he is looking forward to being involved as soon as possible. "I will be working hard on my fitness and I hope to be available for the manager to select me as soon as possible," he said. "The Premier League is the best league in the world and I can't wait to be involved on a match day again. "There have been many things written about me in the past, I want to prove that I am a good player but also a good man." Zaki also paid tribute to former Wigan boss Steve Bruce, who brought him to England when at Wigan. "I would like to thank Steve Bruce, he gave me my first chance in England and I know I can score goals for Hull just like I did for Wigan."
