While Fairhust looks to have played his last game for Shrews

Jamie Devitt's loan spell at Shrewsbury has come to a premature end after the winger was recalled by parent club Hull, while Waide Fairhurst also looks to have played his last game for the club. Devitt has spent the past two months on loan at the Prostar Stadium with his current agreement set to end after Saturday's trip to Chesterfield. And although manager Paul Simpson has admitted he was not going to extend the deal, Hull have recalled their man a couple of days early with possible FA Cup involvement against Wigan in mind. The loans of forward Fairhurst and goalkeeper David Button also expire in the coming days and it is likely one will stay and one will go. "Waide has gone back to Doncaster to get an assessment on his foot injury, our doc and physio estimate that he will be out for around three weeks. We haven't heard back from Doncaster as yet but it looks likely that we won't see Waide again," Simpson told the club's official website. "We are down to Chris Neal as the only fit keeper if David Button has to go back but I am looking to extend that if we get agreement from Tottenham and from the chairman."
