New Tottenham signing Kyle Naughton has revealed his shock having completed his big move to the Premier League side.
Naughton joined Harry Redknapp's set-up on Wednesday along with former Sheffield United teammate Kyle Walker, who will return to Bramall Lane on loan for the duration of the 2009/10 campaign.
The move completes a phenomenal year for the 20-year-old, who only broke into the Blades first team last August but proved a pivotal part of manager Kevin Blackwell's side as they reached the Championship play-off final.
After being awarded the Blades' Young Player of the Season award, Naughton has now completed a dream move to White Hart Lane, and he admits it has come as a bit of a shock.
"I wouldn't have imagined this in my wildest dreams - it's all happened so fast," Naughton told Spurs TV Online.
"I didn't expect to play for Sheffield United as soon as I did, and my first season went so quick. Now I'm here, I can't wait to start getting on with it again and seeing if I can play to the best of my ability in the Premier League.
"I'm a Sheffield United fan, I live 10 minutes from the ground, and I've only ever played for them, so it was a bit sad to leave.
"But to join a club as big as Spurs, I'm also very excited. So although I've left all my friends and family behind, this is a big move for me and something I thought I was ready to do."
While Naughton will join the Spurs camp for the upcoming Premier League season, his younger team-mate will remain in the Championship next term, and Naughton is full of praise for the prospect.
"Kyle's a great player. He's strong, fast, and in the games he played for United last season, it's easy to say that he was Man of the Match in every one of them," said Naughton.
"I don't want to put too much pressure on him, but all I can say is that he is an exciting prospect who will be great to have here."
