Nottingham Forest have reached an agreement with Tottenham regarding the purchase of Chris Gunter.
The Reds have seen a £1.75million approach for the full-back accepted by Spurs, while they have also agreed personal terms with the player.
The Wales international is now set to undergo a medical at the City Ground before completing his switch.
Gunter spent the final two months of the 2008/09 campaign on loan at Forest, making eight appearances for the Championship club.
Having made no secret of his desire to secure regular first-team football next season, he has decided that a move to Trentside will prove more beneficial to his career than battling it out for a starting berth at White Hart Lane.
